Laurie is a second generation mutant who inherited her powers from her father who had similar powers to her.

Laurie can generate invisible pheromones that are scent based. Laurie can affect people moods or make people feel her moods, or effect peoples mood by simply touching them.

Laurie still has to work hard to control her powers but sometimes her pheromones still slip out without her knowledge. Laurie is scared of her powers and how she can't control them at times, she doesn't want to control people with her powers by accident.

When Laurie is angry her powers go out of control and she controls people without knowing.

Laurie had many weaknesses, Laurie still has little control other her powers and sometimes make people feel her emotions by accident, she fears she will control people by accident.

She is a normal person though, she can be stabbed, shot and killed just like a normal person.

BRIEF HISTORY

Born to Sean and Gail Collins, Laurie hates the circumstances of how she was born, as she learned later on in her life her father manipulated her mother into falling in love with her.

Once Laurie was born her mother left her father  and raised her alone.

Laurie only knew her mother as she grew up, she only saw her father once in a picture but never knew him as a child.

Her mother became a recluse and Laurie took on her mother recluses and became shy and withdrawing from people.

When Laurie became a teenager she felt strange, she noticed people began to pay attention to her and like her for no reason.

Laurie told her mother about the strange things happening around her, her mother picked up that maybe her daughter might have inherited her father's abilities.

Worried and concerned about her Daughter Gail found a way to get her daughter help from Charles Xavier. Gail hopes that with Xavier help that Laurie will not become her father with the guidance of someone like Xavier.
