It wasn’t long after being broken out of the facility Pietro was taken to the mansion in Westchester because apparently he was “too young” and mutant liberation was “too dangerous” for him to remain with the Brotherhood. Blah blah blah. Pietro was pretty sure they just wanted to get rid of him. It was a.. kind of reoccurring problem in his life.
But everyone in charge seemed nice and the place was huge and full of kids, so he couldn’t complain too much. He'd definitely gone to worse schools. Charles had talked to some of the students before about whether or not they were open to the idea of having a roommate, and he had decided that Pietro and Levi would probably be a good match.
”Pietro, this is Levi. Levi, Pietro. I was hoping you wouldn’t mind showing him around and helping him get settled in the next few days.” Charles explained. Levi had been there a while and been helpful with some of the new students in the past, and Pietro seemed like he would be far more receptive to someone closer to his own age.
”Hey roomie.” Pietro greeted, grinning.

I was hoping you wouldn't mind showing him around and helping him get settled in the next few days. "Yea, sure," Levi said, not minding at all he was just a little nervous (and excited) to have a roommate because he never had before.
Hey roomie. "Hey," he said, grinning slightly and offering a wave. "Is that hair color your super power?"

”Thank you.” Charles said to Levi. He assured them both they could let him know if they needed anything and left them alone. He was fairly certain Erik brought him a child who's mind moved that quickly out of spite.
”Is that hair color your super power?” Pietro laughed. ”Yeah, I’m really good at buying hair dye.” Buying, stealing, it was the same thing in this context. ”Want me to do yours?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

I'm really good at buying hair dye. Levi smirked. "Okay... what is it, then?" He was sensing some sarcasm. The world of mutants was still fairly new to Levi and so he was actually pretty interested to start seeing what more people were able to do. Want me to do yours? "Yea," he said, nodding. "I want green, though."

”Okay.. what it is then?” Pietro smirked. ”Look over there,” he said, pointing towards the window, and then he ran to the window, took down the curtains, folded them, and was standing back in front of Levi, all in the span of about three seconds. He gave the guy a chance to process that before putting them back. ”I want green though.” He grinned and nodded with approval. ”Nice. There’s no dress code here, is there?” Not that that would impact how he chose to dress. If Charles Xavier had a problem with it, he could always bring him back to the Brotherhood. ”So what can you do?”
