ELLIS SIBLINGS
i would love to have a family of siblings where most (if not all) of them are mutants. they do not all have to be mutants, but i like the idea of that kind of running in the family.
the character i will be bringing in is peter. here's what you need to know.
• peter (age 17)
peter is deaf. he lost his hearing because of his mutation which causes him to pick up on vibrations. any sound creates intense vibrations in his ears and as a toddler they caused his eardrums to burst. he primarily uses american sign language to communicate but he does speak aloud and over time has begun to learn how to interpret sound around him using touch. there will be more details about this in his app!
• family history
they grew up in manhattan in a small apartment. they lived with their single mother who had a drug problem and was often negligent. the siblings grew close and learned how to look out for each other, making sure they made it to school on time and that kind of thing. their mother, ann, is not a mutant and doesn't know about mutants. the siblings' mutations are fairly subtle and i would love it if some of them could have to do with sensory information or communication but they don't have to! but it wouldn't be anything like... blowing things up... because she'd have caught onto that quickly. anyway, their father was a mutant and left a long time ago so most of the siblings wouldn't remember much of him. my thought is that one of the siblings (or more than one) relatively recently would have begun to display more inconvenient or in some way disruptive abilities that have flared up for whatever reason and that could have led to them being found or finding out about mutants and the school. the siblings do not have to be "children" and their level of control with their abilities can vary depending on each individual's interest or willingness to figure things out but i'd like to see them all living together in the mansion and learning more about what they can do. this may be more detailed in my app for peter and it may not be because i tend to learn more about character history as i write them but if you are interested and have questions feel free to ask.
SIBLINGS:
there are 5 total, 4 open. the ages, genders, abilities (or lack of), personalities, are all open. they have the same parents and so they should resemble each other just a bit. i'm not super picky about that but try to be reasonable! peter's face is froy gutierrez.
peter is on the more quiet side but i like to imagine he's close with his siblings and opens up much more when alone with them.
