ERIK LEHNSHERR
Does Magneto require any introduction?
Currently leader of the Brotherhood, his focus is on finding and dismantling labs and organizations devoted to experimenting on mutantkind. He is driven, uncompromising, and prepare to protect his people at any cost.
friends.
There are not many Erik would consider 'friends'. The Brotherhood are his allies, his supporters, and he maintains these relationships through a combination of natural charisma and expectation, but he does not find it easy to let himself be known as more than Magneto. He prefers to keep a healthy distance; it leaves less chance for hurt or disappointment.
enemies.
Erik is not afraid to have enemies. In fact, it drives him. Currently, those humans who would act against mutants are his primary concern, though he is well aware that he is far easier to hate than to love even among his own people. He is not afraid to speak too honestly, and not afraid to call out weakness where he sees it.
lovers.
Romance is not high on his current list of priorities. He has no interest in its complications, and does not consider himself someone who should be loved in this way. Of course, there is a deep part of him that longs for the comfort of another, but it is buried beneath the pain and the anger that drive him. He does not believe that he could truly love something without ultimately destroying it. When it comes to breaking this barrier, gender does not matter so much as consistency and a willingness to see him - and accept him - for all that he is.
x-men.
Erik does not consider those associated with Xavier's to be enemies, necessarily. In fact, he does what he does for them, and would only prefer that they not get in his way. That being said, he keeps tabs on the school (and on Charles, especially), and will never truly be able to leave any of it be.

Erik & Corrine: Master of Magnetism meet walking metal spikes. I was thinking maybe a recruitment thread with these two. Corrine doesn’t hate humans per se, but she has no particular love for them after seeing how they treat mutants first hand on a smaller scale, especially with her own family which are mostly mutants.

Charles and Erik Sigh.
(We talk about them constantly, I just needed to include that.) Duke and Erik So Duke has an enhanced processing ability which means he can rapidly sort through probable outcomes of any scenario to determine the smartest possible options at a given time. Basically the universe gave him all the common sense Erik lacks. He went through the majority of his life without any knowledge about mutants since being a genius is a fairly ‘acceptable’ mutation in society and he’s never had any kind of hardships for it, but if people are screening for them somehow, that forces him to care a little. Honestly, Erik would frustrate the hell out of him but if came down to a choice between Erik and Charles’s methods, Duke would align more with Erik. He wants to get shit done fast and doesn’t have an issue with using violence as a method. He also comes as kind of a package deal with RICARDO ALVAREZ who was discovered by the government and used as spy because of his abilities, so obviously he’s also not a fan of them at all. We’re still in the process of plotting how that’s going to go down, but its possible they’ll come out of there with some information that’s useful to Erik about how the government is locating mutants. I'm thinking maybe they even get out because of one of the Brotherhoods more explosive displays and thus are a bit indebted to them.

Perfect, absolutely. "No particular love" is something he can work with, and I'm interested to see how far he might be able to lead her down his path. Also, her ability sounds badass and very useful. Do you have a situation in mind where he could find and approach her? I feel like he would definitely notice her because of the unusual presence of iron, so it probably won't take much to get him to extend an offer.

I wholeheartedly agree.

"Basically the universe gave him all the common sense Erik lacks." First of all, Erik resents this. But will forgive on the account of Duke being useful. I feel like if he ends up with Erik, they'd definitely butt heads in the beginning, but Erik would also see the benefit of his perspective and eventually learn how to consult with him without getting pissed off (I hope). I also love the idea of the Brotherhood "rescuing" them in some way and then gaining that valuable information about how the government is operating... we could have the Brotherhood go in, cause a lot of mayhem, and then extract them once they realize they're mutants perhaps? Lots of drama? I'm down for anything anytime!

Erik & Corrine: If Erik is just having a visit in New York, he’d likely run into her in Central Park since its not as crowded. It’s a frequent spot for her when studying or just relaxing to avoid someone getting skewered by accident. X’D Know it’s not the best scenario since I didn’t think that far ahead, but since she’s a college student doesn’t have to be anything particularly dramatic. She would certainly be intrigued with his ideals, perhaps a bit hesitant with going too far, but I think in time she will get use to it.

Eric and Laura
Oh boy one of Laura weaknesses is Eric's powers, I think these two could have a intresting interaction, since Laura is an artifical creation who was treated bad by humans untill recently, i am open to how they interact but i am sure it would be fun.
