POWERS & ABILITIES

Eloise’s mutation consist of shapeshifting due to an adaptive genetic code. In simple terms it means she has the potential to shapeshift into any and all living things including other people, animals, and plants. However their are limitations to such a seemingly utilitarian mutation… it requires a DNA sample. In order to shift into something like say Charles Xavier for example, Eloise needs to have made physical contact with the original Charles to acquire his DNA for her body to remember and be able to shift into a perfect genetic copy of Charles… with the paralysis as well because that is the state of Charles when or if she acquired the sample.

This leads to the other limitation and benefit of Eloise power. The DNA she requires will allow Eloise to shift into the form of the DNA sample at the time of sample acquiring.. so if the person, plant, or animal is injured at the time of her acquiring then the form she will shift into will be as damaged or injured as the original at the time of DNA acquisition. However on the plus side when she shifts from her original self to a sample he can avoid dying from injuries by taking the form of a relativily healthy Charles dna sample but if she shifts back to her original form then he will still be injured in the same manner that she last left her normal original form. It is due to this her mutation that as time passes her copies of people don’t necessarily work as IDENTICAL copies.. because after a year the original would age and unless Eloise keeps up to date samples of the person then the copy she mimics would be a year or more younger then the original.

It is important to note her mimicry of individuals with the x gene. Yes she can mimic them, and their x gene included based off a sample but this does not mean she understands or comprehends their ability to control the persons mutations which can lead to either positive, negative or both circumstances.. sometimes comically so.

Currently Eloise can only stay in a form for up to 2 hours before her body forces her back to her natural form, however with a lot of practice it is possible that Eloise could work toward sustaining a form for longer.

It is important to note that Eloise has to consciously be keeping the morph/form otherwise if she were to be knocked out or fell asleep then her body goes back to her natural form.

BRIEF HISTORY

-Eloise Danielle Brown was born originally in Jackson, Mississippi as the product of a unfortunate circumstance between Eliza Brown a housemaid and her employer but that was never disclosed to Eloise even though her mothers husband Daniel Brown still raised Eloise as his own.

-Eloise family that consisted of her mother, her father, and two younger brothers moved to New York City with the hope of finding better work for her parents and a better upbringing away from the Deep South.

- Eloise did not entirely adapt well to a new life in practically a new land compared to the relatively harsher life in the south she was used to. It was welcome to a degree but what wasn’t was her lack of friends. Perhaps Eloise would have had friends if she learned how to have fun rather then be what her brothers call uptight or a smarty pants

-Eloise mutation manifest itself when she was at the park. While her mother warned her about not touching a dog that wasn’t your own.. this one was really cute and looked so hungry that she couldn’t help sharing her lunch with the Pomeranian. As she pet the happy creature the thought crossed her mind of what it would be like to be a dog, however Eloise had no intention or notion that she could morph into said dog.

-Eloise was very confused and even more confused when a member of the X-men Sean Cassidy picked her up and took her to the X-Mansion, thought she was a dog and seemingly wanted to keep her.. fortunately it seemed Charles was able to pick up her panicking thoughts of a teenage 15 year old girl trapped in the body of a male Pomeranian.. and she has been with the X School ever sense (so for three years now).
