Raven has a plan and she saw to execute it, the Brotherhood were captured in a secure facility and Raven sought to free them. Her plan started a month ago, she took on the form of a nobody employee, she was barely noticed by the higher ups who didn't even know her name or rank half the time.
Raven spent her time as an employee learning everything about the building, every entrance, every staff routine, every exit, she knew the building like the back of her hand and began forming her plan.
Raven after like one of her fellow guards of course, laughing and mocking the mutants, while feeling disgust about hearing the words that had been said about her and her kind so openly, yet giving small hints to comrades of the fact she wasn't a normal guard.
The first part of her plan was to get the brotherhood free and start with getting the teleporter out first therefore she walked to her fellow guards panting as if she just ran there, but saluted her 'superiors.'
"Sirs I just got the news of Admiral Baxter, this prisoner is to be moved to a more secure facility." She explained sounding slightly tired
Raven eyed up the man in the cell for a moment.
" Are you sure we have not received any information about such orders?"
"Sure this just came in from the Admiral, I don't think we should question him do you?"
There was a pause, they could ask the Admiral but no one wanted to be chewed out so the guards give in to the imposter.

Faint movement could be heard nearby as someone attempted to listen on what was happening.
Chains rattling, Azazel sat up in his cot, only half as sedated as usual since he was slated to be experimented upon that day. His body ached as he moved, the smallest movement causing him to wince and hiss slightly, pretty sure one of his recent gashes had reopened slightly from the movements. Not that much could be done. Heavily chained and kept drugged, there wasn’t much he could do in terms of focusing or trying to escape, far too out of it usually and rather exhausted to the point he likely wouldn’t make much effort to be able to teleport even. Three or so long years was enough to sap anyone’s energy, much less the torturous experiments and discipline they used there at the facilities.
But, Azazel still attempted to listen, only getting the gist of the conversation since his sedated mind barely processed exactly what was being said.
All he knew was someone was being transferred somewhere, which tended to not bode well for their kind. Rarely did any ever come back when they were moved. And from the looks of it, the guard that was of low rank and being subtle they weren’t who they appeared to be the informing one. It did have the demonic mutant curious to their motives and why they acted so oddly, but without the ability to focus enough to touch even the nearest of minds he really couldn’t find that out. “Still having problem controlling us comrade?” Azazel openly mocked, tone slurred and full of tiredness, yet did not seem to care what consequence it would wrought. He likely would pay for it later, longer of being experimented upon, a beating, no food and water for a week, he was use to it. And certainly was no stranger to persecution and being locked up for a time. But, there was always a way out.
“Flat scans, your methods haven’t changed much. Same methods, updated look.” Azazel snorted, unimpressed by the methods no matter how much pain they had caused him. Even with their present reach methods, it could take decades before they ever got a breakthrough in the mutant genome.

while rico and duke did not need to be restrained so heavily, rico had been rather uncomfortable for quite some time. they were staying in a small cell, having been brought in and kept together as the space available for containing mutants was growing smaller and smaller over time. their cell contained a toilet and a cot and water and food were slid under their door just often enough to keep them alive. they'd both undergone some experimentation by that point rico was tired, weak, and quiet.
he spent most of his time talking to duke and trying to ignore the effects of various drugs in his body. he'd been leaning his head against a wall with his eyes shut when he made out faint conversation coming through a vent in the ceiling. he stood up slowly, trying to listen.

If Duke ever made it out of there he was going to go back to Texas and launch another attempted secession because fuck the US government. He and Rico had spent the last few months in what was basically a prison cell, only let out to be put under a microscope, drugged to hell and back, and literally shocked in effort to figure out what was going on in their heads that gave them their abilities. It didn’t seem like anyone was making much headway.
Between the experiments, and the fact that he’d been shot in the leg during their capture, moving was the last thing he wanted to do at the moment. But his curiosity won out as the guards started talking about moving a prisoner. He pursed his lips, leaning against the door. ”Something seem off to you about that?"

Though not quiet as difficult to contain as Azazel, Pietro’s cell was located closer to the red mutant’s, do to his.. unique restraint requirements. To keep him from simply slipping out the second the door was open, or generating the force to break it down himself, his arms and legs had both been crossed before being chained to opposite sides of the wall, leaving him effectively immobilized on his cot.
Since his arrival, the young mutant had gone through pretty much all the stages of grief, from outright denial, to attempted bargaining, and even crying .. which he didn’t plan on admitting actually happened to anyone, ever. And while he didn’t notice anything strange about the guards’s interaction, he was just thrilled people were finally talking.
”Yeah, what he said!” he called after Azazel’s remark. ”Plus you’re all ugly!”

Ha Lien had no real cohesive idea of what was happening. The government guards or at least that is what she assumed they were, even though she didn’t have time to ask in between momentary spots of consciousness. Helen was fed a steady supply of sedatives through the IV in her arm to keep the Vietnamese woman under controllable conditions. The moment they had tried to allow Helen to gain some form of awareness, the woman without trying grew rapidly until she had been shot again with the elephant tranquilizers. Unfortunately for one guard, the original space they tried to keep Helen in had been small, hence when she grew the woman had accidentally crushed the poor bloke before she was slipped back into a unaware, unconscious state once more and moved to a somewhat larger cell a day or so ago. Was it days? Helen had no idea or concept of the passing of time in this state. To an outsider looking at the woman she would appear sleeping, not moving in her sedated stupor within the confines of her bed, an IV connected to her left arm feeding the sedatives slowly not to kill the woman but to assure she remain not a unintentional problem for them.

Hiram Keegan had become Bloodscout the moment a kidnap team had arrived, he hadn't harmed anyone because he wanted them to treat Helen as gently as possible. She had luckily been sedated most of their time in the holding cells, they didn't know how to get her from growing when she was conscious so really it was a silver lining. As Bloodscout he took control of is situation by cooperating with them the entire time by allowing them to run their tests, it wasn't his first time being poked and prodded. These people were kittens compared to what he had experienced.
Plus it meant they trusted him and enough not to keep him sedated, being sobered meant he could watch Helen. He shared with them who he was and what he could do, they asked why he was so willing to give them what they wanted and he told them flatly he wanted to make sure his wife was respected. Safe. She was across from his cell now and that was a huge comfort (even though it was hurting him to see her drugged so heavily).
Bloodscout hadn't tried to communicate with any of the other captives, but he made sure to observe them.

At last, he had received communications from Mystique. She had found the prisoners, and was posed to orchestrate their release. It was a relief that they were alive, though Erik could not imagine what atrocities they might have been forced to endure. What they had seen of the programs so far, the documents, the photographs... the thought of it fueled his anger until it was a festering thing. The thought of what they might do with this information, the way it might be turned against his people...
He donned his full battle armor - cape, helmet - and made his way to her coordinates. It was an ugly structure, nondescript, concrete and rebar. His lip curled in a sneer. He could feel the iron within. Felt as if he could have torn the whole thing from its foundation and simply splintered it to pieces, if not for the need to protect his own still inside. For them, he would be somewhat patient. He landed some distance away and strode toward it, purposeful, tilting his head back to take it in as it rose before him.
Mystique had a plan for escape, and Erik trusted her in her ability to execute it. He was here for what would come after - the destruction of the human's monstrosity. For now, he stood at the fence, hand outstretched. Feeling his way through the building with his metal sense, finding each security camera and crushing them in quick succession. It was focused work, but he had learned much in the wake of the guidance Charles had given him; he could appreciate the man for that much.
That effort completed, he started for the entrance, waving a hand idly to send the doors crashing open.

Raven had succeeded in her ploy against the humans, they opened the prison to the mutant she wanted to help escape first.
Raven smiled a bit but had to play the part of a guard a bit longer, so as they moved the mutant out of the prison she looked to her comrades for a moment with a meaningful look.
The shape shifting mutant walked with the other guards a bit longer but stepped back and shifted into her true form and jumped up and spin kicked them.
" It's time for your freedom brothers." Raven announced
She looked to Azazel with a curious look.
" Can you teleport?" She asked urgent

Azazel would have chuckled softly at Pietro’s amusing albeit childish remarks, if not for the guards moving right for his cell.
The demonic mutant’s entire body tensed upon this realization. They were moving him?! What more security could they possibly do when he was already adequately restrained. He growled softly under his breath as adrenaline began to kick in from this outrage. But, restraint won over his need to fight back, going against every fiber of his being to avoid further problems as his chains were undone and placed in handcuffs, grunting from his chaffed wrists and the cuffs squeezing so tightly. “{Bastards, just as bad as anything else.}” He grumbled in Russian as he glared at each guard before spotting the young guard’s meaningful glance.
Now that...seemed odd.
Raising a brow quizzically, Azazel chanced to extend his mind towards the lower ranked guard, having to focus specifically due to not fully out of a drugged state just yet. Wait...that mind! Before he could say anything Raven revealed herself seconds later, stepping back to allow the blue mutant to take them out before giving a slight grin, “Beautiful and resourceful, you are full of surprises Raven.” Azazel complimented as his tail extended, grabbing the keys from the admiral’s belt to bring to his hand, unlocking the cuffs as she inquired towards his ability to teleport. “Yes, but it will not be as precise as I would hope.” The red skinned man’s adrenaline levels seemed to kick into high gear now, his sedated mind becoming clearer but not without still feeling dizziness as he suddenly teleported with a BAMF sound, the smell of brimstone briefly filling the air before he returned seconds later, confiscated swords in hand.
It felt good to have them back, flexing his hands around the hilts as he tried to focus on the task at hand. It was hard to concentrate, but he forced himself to push through the remaining haze. “Let us make some commotion no? Get our brothers and sisters out as soon as able.” Freedom first, then he could worry about teleporting them to safety. One step at a time, that’s what he told himself as he teleported again and landed unsteadily within the closest cell, finding young Pietro in a state that made him frown. “Allow me to give you more room to move comrade.” He told the young speedster before grabbing his sword with his tail and touching Pietro’s shoulder, BAMFing them both out to the hall but landing on unsteady feet and leaving the restraints behind.

”Whoa..” Pietro breathed, blinking in surprise as Azazel appeared beside him in his cell. Though he had spent plenty of time listening to the mutant’s distinct accent through the walls, he hadn’t expected all the red. Before he could fully comprehend what was happening, there was a hand on his shoulder, and even faster than even he was used to moving, he appeared standing outside in the hall.
Well, actually, he fell on the floor in the hall. It turned out that being chained up as long as he had didn’t really promote good blood flow, and it took him a few seconds to regain the feeling in his limbs. ”That was awesome,” he said, grinning slightly and stretching out his arms, rolling his shoulders, as he looked from Azazel to the blue woman. God why was everyone here cooler than him?
”Thanks. So, uh, what’s the plan?” he asked curiously, eyeing the bodies on the floor. ”Oh, wait, I can help!” In an instant he was beside one of the fallen guards, rifling through pockets until he found another set of keys. He ran down the hall, unlocking every door that he could, effectively freeing Duke, Rico, and Hiram, and all of the mutants who didn’t have any kind of special restraints.

even after hearing the commotion rico had not expected what was coming. he tensed immediately upon pietro's presence but before he had the chance to process, he and duke were freed and the mutant was gone.
he peaked his head out into the hall slowly, expected a plethora of high-pitched screeching to assault his head. instead of the radio attacks, he realized that more and more doors were being opened.
they were being broken out.
"no one is talking about an escape over the radios," he said to duke, listening intently for any signs that they were being pursued.
he was wary of the group of mutants but they had not done anything to betray his trust thus far.
"thank you," he said... directed at pietro though he didn't know that he had been the one to unlock their cell. "what's going on?" he asked... as more of a general question to anyone who was listening.

As soon as Hiram was free he pulled his cell open with a jerk and stepped out, he briefly acknowledged his 'rescue' group but then his attention went fully to his wife's cell. She still seemed to be heavily sedated which for the most part was great. She couldn't control her growth which was a problem.
"Aye, if yer breakin folks out I'm gonna need help wif me wife ya see she has no control of her mutation and I'll tell tha' story later but it all jus' happened....she's gonna 'ave to stay sedated or sumthin'or she's gonna grow into a rightly big fookin giant," he didn't wait for a response as he headed toward her cell hoping the speedy mutant would unlock it.
